The line joins the places in our photos: roads follow the road route between them, the flight is drawn as an arc and the boat ride follows the photos taken on board. Times at stops come from the photos and the bookings (“approx.” where estimated); between stops the replay spreads the travel evenly and passes quickly over the flight. All times are Indian Standard Time.

Our family

The four of us — Vasavya, Usha, Adarsh and Spurthi — travelled together with our friend Ganesh Abbireddy and his family: eight of us shared the Lonavala resort. We took a cab from home in Hydernagar on the evening of Saturday 5 October to the overnight bus to Shirdi, went on by cab to Lonavala and Mumbai, and flew back to Hyderabad late on Wednesday 9 October, home by cab in the small hours of Thursday 10 October.
