From hill roads to the sea
In January 2026, we set out from Hyderabad on a seven-day road journey across Andhra Pradesh. Our route took us through Vijayawada, Eluru and Rajahmundry toward the spectacular landscapes of Maredumilli, Lambasingi, Paderu and Araku.
The hill-country portion was the heart of the trip: forest stretches, winding roads, valley views and the distinctive scenery of the Eastern Ghats. We also included Vizianagaram and Salur before reaching Visakhapatnam.
On the return journey we included Annavaram and Rajahmundry, then continued via Eluru and Vijayawada, with a visit to Machilipatnam before the final drive back to Hyderabad.
