Goa Family Tour: Baga–Calangute – North Goa – Old Goa | 10–12 Oct 2016

Completed 10–12 Oct 2016 (about 1,500 km): our family of four to Goa — a cab to Hyderabad airport and a flight there and two nights at Estrela Do Mar, Baga–Calangute; a boat trip off Nerul, Fort Aguada, Anjuna, Vagator and Chapora Fort; then Old Goa’s Bom Jesus and Sé Cathedral, the Mangueshi temple, a spice plantation, Dona Paula and Miramar before the overnight bus home.

11 Oct 2016 Baga–Calangute → Nerul boat trip → Fort Aguada → Anjuna → Vagator → Chapora Fort → Calangute–Baga beach 52 7:46 AM → 7:06 PM Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort, Baga–Calangute An early walk on the beach in front of the resort, then a boat trip from Nerul past Sinquerim and the Aguada jail at the mouth of the Mandovi, Fort Aguada and its lighthouse, the rocks at Anjuna, Big Vagator beach and the ramparts of Chapora Fort, and the evening on Calangute–Baga beach with the speedboats and parasailing. Second night at Estrela Do Mar.
12 Oct 2016 Baga–Calangute → Panaji → Old Goa → Mangueshi → Keri spice plantation → Panaji → Dona Paula → Miramar → overnight bus → Hydernagar 782 12:01 PM → 8:00 AM Overnight bus to Hyderabad Check-out and south to Panaji and the Mandovi riverfront, then Old Goa: the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Sé Cathedral precinct. The Shri Mangueshi temple at Priol, the Tropical Spice Plantation at Keri, then back to Panaji, the Dona Paula jetty, Miramar beach and the Immaculate Conception church. The overnight sleeper bus to Hyderabad left Panaji after 5:28 PM — not at the booked 4:30 PM — and was passing Ribandar at 5:50 PM; home the next morning.
