The four of us travelled together: Vasavya, Usha, Adarsh and Spurthi. We took a cab from home in Hydernagar to the airport on the afternoon of Monday 10 October for the flight to Goa, went around Goa by taxi, and came back on an overnight bus, home on the morning of Thursday 13 October.

Our photos put the landing at about 4:26 PM, earlier than the scheduled 4:45 PM, and show us still sightseeing at Dona Paula and Miramar after the bus’s booked 4:30 PM departure — on the bus at Ribandar at 5:50 PM.
Trip highlights
Fort Aguada
The Portuguese fort and lighthouse on the headland, with views over the sea and the river.
Anjuna, Vagator and Chapora
The rocks at Anjuna, Big Vagator beach and the laterite ramparts of Chapora Fort in one afternoon.
Evening on the beach
Speedboats, parasailing and the waves on the beach by our resort until sunset.
Bom Jesus and the Sé
The Basilica of Bom Jesus with its gilded altars, and the Sé Cathedral precinct across the lawns.
Mangueshi and the spice plantation
The Shri Mangueshi temple and its lamp tower, then a walk through the Tropical Spice Plantation at Keri.
Three days
Road distances follow the road route between the places in our photos; the flight is a great-circle distance, so all are approximate. The bus route home is the usual road route, as the actual route was not recorded.
